Welcome
A body-led approach to healing, grounded in
nervous system science and guided by compassion.
I’m Dr. Tamara Kraft, PhD, an Integrative Somatic Practitioner
and Yoga Psychology Instructor. My work sits at the intersection
of neuroscience, somatic psychology, and the innate wisdom the
body holds.
I support individuals who feel burdened by chronic stress, long-standing patterns, or unresolved experiences to rediscover safety in their nervous system—creating the foundation to reconnect with the parts of themselves that have long waited for acknowledgement and care.
You are not broken.
Healing, to me, is not about fixing what is wrong.
It is about creating enough safety for the parts of you that adapted, protected, and endured to finally soften and be met with care. When the nervous system experiences safety, clarity and choice become more available. Patterns that once felt immovable begin to shift—not through force, but through understanding.
Who this work supports
I support individuals who:
-
feel disconnected from themselves or their bodies
-
struggle with chronic stress, overwhelm, or emotional exhaustion
-
have a history of trauma or attachment wounding
-
feel stuck in reactive patterns that no longer align with who they want to be
-
long for deeper presence, intimacy, pleasure, and authenticity
-
sense there is a wiser version of themselves that has not yet had space to emerge
Many of the people I work with are women navigating the complexities of caregiving, identity, self-sacrifice, or the quiet exhaustion of carrying too much alone, but welcome anyone seeking a grounded, compassionate, body-centered approach to change.
How I work
My sessions weave together:
-
Nervous system education rooted in Polyvagal Theory
-
Somatic inquiry into sensations, impulses, and emotional patterns
-
Resilience-building practices that expand capacity rather than push past it
-
Gentle integration work that helps your past soften without overwhelming your present
-
Body-based tools for grounding, regulation, and embodied self-trust
Together, we create a space where your nervous system can unwind, reorganize, and reorient toward safety and belonging.
Sessions are offered in person and virtually and are designed to complement—not replace—licensed medical care.
A final invitation
Your healing does not require perfection or effortful striving.
It begins with presence, curiosity, and the willingness to befriend your body again.
If this approach resonates with you, I would be honored to walk beside you—with warmth, science, and a deep respect for the wisdom already living inside you.

Many women have a clear understanding of what would support their well-being, yet find it difficult to implement or sustain change. This is often not a matter of motivation or insight, but rather the impact of chronic stress, past experiences, or long-standing adaptive patterns on the nervous system.
My one-on-one work focuses on nervous-system-informed coaching and somatic support to help increase regulation, resilience, and capacity. Through a structured, compassionate, and non-judgmental process, we explore how physiological stress responses may be influencing daily functioning, habits, and patterns of response—and work toward greater ease, flexibility, and self-trust.
Sessions integrate nervous-system education, body-based awareness practices, and non-invasive modalities such as Quantum Neurological Reset Therapy (QNRT), alongside holistic and somatic approaches. This work is supportive and educational in nature and is designed to complement—not replace—medical or mental health care.
The goal of this work is not diagnosis or treatment, but to support nervous system balance, increase capacity for self-regulation, and facilitate sustainable, embodied change.
Sessions are offered in person or virtually.
We heal best in community! I offer a variety of wellness support groups depending on the current needs of women in my practice. Groups offer women the compassionate guidance, support , and encouragement to find more freedom and fulfillment in life. A safe, authentic, nonjudgmental community where members walk alongside of each other through difficulties, as well as celebrating one another's successes together is a key foundation to being our best selves!
Yoga is an empowering practice to quiet one's mind, challenge one's body, and to assimilate deeply held, felt sense insights and revelations on the path to rediscovering who you truly are as an individual. I have been doing yoga for over 30 years and now teach in a variety of settings, encouraging mindfulness to how themes that emerge in our physical practice often parallel those in our current life, thereby offering us the opportunity to make changes . Yoga is an opportunity to get quiet and tap into your own inner wisdom and to free up places of physical and emotional holding.
