A body-led approach to healing, grounded in nervous system science and

guided by compassion.

I’m Dr. Tamara Kraft, PhD, an Integrative Somatic Practitioner

and Yoga Psychology Instructor. My work sits at the intersection

of neuroscience, somatic psychology, and the innate wisdom the

body holds. 

I support individuals who feel burdened by chronic stress, long-standing patterns, or unresolved experiences to rediscover safety in their nervous system—creating the foundation to reconnect with the parts of themselves that have long waited for acknowledgement and care.

Healing, to me, is not about fixing what is wrong. 

 

It is about creating enough safety for the parts of you that adapted, protected, and endured to finally soften and be met with care. When the nervous system experiences safety, clarity and choice become more available. Patterns that once felt immovable begin to shift—not through force, but through understanding.

Who this work supports​

I support individuals who:

  • feel disconnected from themselves or their bodies

  • struggle with chronic stress, overwhelm, or emotional exhaustion

  • have a history of trauma or attachment wounding

  • feel stuck in reactive patterns that no longer align with who they want to be

Many of the people I work with are women navigating the complexities of caregiving, identity, self-sacrifice, or the quiet exhaustion of carrying too much alone, but welcome anyone seeking a grounded, compassionate, body-centered approach to change.

How I work​:

My sessions weave together:

  • Nervous system education rooted in Polyvagal Theory

  • Somatic inquiry into sensations, impulses, and emotional patterns

  • Resilience-building practices that expand capacity rather than push past it

  • Gentle integration work that helps your past soften without overwhelming your present

  • Body-based tools for grounding, regulation, and embodied self-trust

 

Together, we create a space where your nervous system can unwind, reorganize, and reorient toward safety and belonging.

Sessions are offered in person and virtually and are designed to complement—not replace—licensed medical care.

Many women intuitively know what would nourish their well-being, yet find it difficult to create lasting change. This is not a matter of lacking motivation or insight, but rather the deep, subtle influence of chronic stress, past experiences, and long-held patterns woven into the fabric of the nervous system.

In my one-on-one work, we gently uncover the roots of these patterns, using a nervous-system-informed and somatic approach to help you restore balance and expand your capacity for self-regulation. With compassion and at your pace, we explore how your body’s wisdom can guide you toward greater ease, flexibility, and trust in yourself.

Drawing on nervous-system education, body-centered practices, and brain wellness modalities like Quantum Neurological Reset Therapy (QNRT), our work supports your healing journey. It’s an invitation to reconnect with your true essence and bring your whole being—mind, body, and spirit—into harmony. This work is designed to complement, not replace, medical or mental health care, offering a holistic path forward.

The goal of our sessions is to nurture the rhythms of your nervous system, awaken your inner capacity for self-regulation, and support the embodied changes that allow you to live with greater flow, freedom, and authenticity.

Sessions are available in person or virtually, wherever you feel most supported.

Healing thrives in community! I offer a variety of wellness support groups designed to meet the unique needs of the women in my practice, integrating nervous system-informed, somatic, and trauma-sensitive approaches. These groups provide compassionate guidance and support, helping women find greater freedom and fulfillment in life. With a focus on building safety and regulation within the body, we create a space where members can feel grounded, seen, and heard. In this safe, authentic, and nonjudgmental environment, women walk alongside each other—navigating challenges, celebrating victories, and healing through connection. Together, we build a foundation for deep healing, resilience, and empowered living, honoring the wisdom of both our nervous systems and our shared experiences.

Yoga is a transformative practice that quiets the mind, challenges the body, and nurtures deep self-awareness. With over 30 years of personal practice and teaching experience, I guide students to explore how the  themes that arise on the mat often reflect patterns in our daily lives. All offerings are informed by polyvagal theory and the wisdom of our nervous system. By tuning into the body’s messages and understanding the autonomic nervous system, we can make empowered changes that promote healing and growth. Yoga offers a sacred space to tap into your inner wisdom, release long-held emotional and physical tension, and cultivate a greater sense of safety and coherence within yourself. Through this holistic approach, we rediscover the true balance of mind, body, and spirit.
